OA & ODSG London Summer Reception | 4 June 2026

Old Andreans and DSG Old Girls gathered at Devonshire Terrace, London, on Thursday 4 June for a thoroughly enjoyable Summer Reception. With around 90 guests in attendance, it was an excellent turnout, bringing together a wonderfully wide age group for an evening of reconnection, conversation and shared memories.

Guests enjoyed a relaxed cocktail-style evening, with food and drinks served in the beautiful setting of the Devonshire Terrace.

A highlight of the evening was a warm address from Tom Hamilton, Headmaster of St Andrew’s College, who spoke to the Old Andreans and, on behalf of DSG, to the DSG Old Girls. Tom shared a thoughtful update from Makhanda (Grahamstown), reflecting on where the schools are currently, as well as outlining plans and priorities for the future. His remarks were well received and added a special touch to the occasion.

Also in attendance was Former Headmaster, Antony Clark, who is the current Global Ambassador for College’s 175 Anniversary.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a success. It was a pleasure to see so many familiar faces, reconnect with old friends, make new connections, and share such an enjoyable evening together.
