The final gathering of the 2026 1st XV Rugby Tour to Australia was held in Brisbane on 9 July 2026, where 35 Old Andreans, DSG Old Girls, touring parents and friends came together for an enjoyable evening at The One Mile Woolloongabba restaurant.
Headmaster Tom Hamilton and Master in Charge of Rugby Jonny Mallett, hosted the gathering, providing an update on College, and the exciting plans in the journey to the 175th in 2030.
Our sincere thanks go to Pieter Greyling (Upper 2006) for organising the event and bringing the OA community together in Brisbane. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to Greg Mullins (Espin 1998) for his generous hospitality in hosting the touring team and parents at Anglican Church Grammar School (Churchie) earlier this week.
The 2026 Rugby Tour concludes tomorrow with the final fixture against Churchie. We wish the team and staff every success for the match and thank everyone across Australia who has welcomed and supported the team, staff and parents throughout the tour.
